Better Flow. If you're an S550 GT owner and want a way to make more power and transform your exhaust note into something more aggressive, this MAC Catback with X-Pipe is a great option to consider. The Flow Path mufflers look like they're chambered, but they're actually straight through design. Thanks to a combination of Flow Path mufflers and the included X-pipe, this cat-back exhaust system produces a deep and loud note, instead of the rasp you might be expecting. It also helps bump up horsepower and torque levels. Again, you can only install this catback on 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GTs. Strong Build. This system is built to really last, because everything is made of 409 stainless steel. All the tubing measures 2.5 inches in diameter, with mandrel bends to keep that consistent. The tips are polished and measure 4 inches each. Simple Install. This is an easy upgrade for your Mustang, even if you don't have a lot of experience. There's not cutting or drilling involved, but instead you just bolt everything in place. That means you need a good set of sockets and wrenches, plus other basic hand tools. Everything attaches using the factory mounting points, which simplifies the whole process. Plan on this job taking you about two hours of your time.
