Sanu Ek Pal - Ustad Dildar Hussain Khan | Nabeel Khan | Sarangi & Tabla

Without planning both Ustad Dildar Hussain and Nabeel Khan (‪@NabeelSarangi‬) are in the UK together. Ustad Dildar has been featuring in the Fanna-Fi-Allah Sufi Qawwali tour, and Nabeel who is also touring the UK as a solo artist was also invited to feature; hence they met.

Ustad Dildar needs no introduction whatsoever. He is the King of Qawwali tabla having performed with the late and great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan for over 30 years. Nabeel is from Delhi, India and of the Moradabad Sainia Gharana of Sarangi players and a student of the legendary Sarangi maestro Ustad Sabri Khan. The opportunity to sit and play music with such a living legend such as Ustad Dildar Khan saab is one that Nabeel did not want to miss and rightly so.

It's also a reminder that music actually has no boundaries and what a joy to see a rising star of the classical scene in India sit with a grand Ustad from Pakistan! Such encounters should be more often.
