I have had Samsung Phones since the first day they came out with the Galaxy S Vibrant (and before that I had the Motorola G1) When they came out with the Note and then the Note 2 I was first in line for the Note 2. One of the things that attracted me to the Note 2 was the S Pen. A great idea right? But as many of you probably know that USING that S Pen is not quite as easy as it looks or should be. I never could figure out how to simply take the pen out and scribble phone numbers or quick notes without having to use the "Force" or something... When I did finally get a note written it took me forever to relocate where the note was stored on the phone and recall it. Making a grocery list or to do list became more of a headache than just carrying around a regular paper notebook. The S Pen would always try to draw when I wanted to type or I could not scroll around on a S Pen Document to make additions to the top or bottom of a note. I finally gave up all together on using my Note 2 for writing anything down. Because I have not really noticed any SUPER BIG changes in the Note Series of Samsung Galaxy Phones over the last few years I finally resorted to buying a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. My wife and I had been very loyal Note fans and when I brought home a S6 for each of us she was very disappointed. I explained how though we were losing some screen size we were gaining durability. How many phones can you drop in the toilet on accident without the world ending? She told me that if I just waited a couple months that Samsung would come out with a Note "Active" and that she missed her S Pen Gadget. I asked her if she ever used the pen anyway and every time we are anywhere and need to write something down NEITHER of us break out the S Pen anyway so what was she really missing out on? Being the Redneck loving husband that I am I decided to take action and last night while she was in bed about to go to sleep grief-stricken and missing her S Pen I took action. I got out the redneck tools of the trade and fixed her S6 right up.
