The Saloon and Estate models of the new C-Class start from the production line of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. The best-selling Mercedes-Benz model series in the world will start production in Bremen at the leading factory in global C-Class production. This will be followed shortly by start-ups in Beijing, China and international locations in East London, South Africa.
Hybrid models will be in rapid succession as part of the "Electric First" training with battery systems supplied from the Mercedes-Benz battery plant in Jawor, Poland.
Local production in China for the Chinese market is a success factor for Mercedes-Benz. China is the largest market for the C-Class Sedan since 2016. The factory in Beijing produces a long-wheelbase version of the C-Class for the Chinese market.
It is produced in East London for worldwide export of right-hand and left-hand drive Sedan models.
