You & Me / Kitty Wells & Johnnie Wright

This tune Red Foley & Kitty had great success with, but when she & Johnnie Wright recorded it the tune itself became very special. When Johnnie Wright passed away in 2011, he was age 97, & they had been Married for 74 years.. If that isn't special, I fail to know what is. Kitty herself was born Ellen Murial Deason, and in 1952 when she changed her stage name to Kitty Wells, the entire Country Music Industry was changed forever.. Do enjoy it Folks, on the video is a photo of Johnnie when he was still working in Radio, along with Murial Deason standing behind him, and Louise Wright, Johnnie's Sister is on the left.. Louise would soon after, Marry Jack Anglin, & we certainly know of the great music Johnnie & Jack has brought to us with their Tennessee Mountain Boys ... Thank you Friends !!!
