Join us for part two of an offshore red snapper fishing trip out of SW Florida during the final open weekend of American Red Snapper season. We ran from 19 miles inshore at first light to 74 miles offshore past Boca Grande Pass, pushing our 29-foot Sea Fox center console with twin 300hp Yamaha motors at nearly 49 mph in perfect weather. We made our first drop in 190 feet of water, where fresh-cut bait and jigs produced nonstop action. We landed 12-pound red snapper, multiple lane and yellowtail snapper, keeper red grouper, and capped the day with a 21-pound black-fin tuna. Fish were stacked both on the bottom and suspended up to 140 feet, making for an unforgettable deep-sea fishing adventure. It was an epic offshore snapper trip from start to finish. The next day included cleaning the fish for some Tuna Grilling action. We seasoned the belly meat an other parts for the grill.
