Once upon a time in a faraway land
There was a kingdom ruled by an evil hand
And the one who dared to call herself the kingdom's Queen,
Was a tiny girl of only age fourteen

The world's greatest treasures filled her home
Her servant had a face exactly like her own
Josephine was the name of precious steed
Anything and everything belonged to her indeed

If we have no money what difference does it make?
If they've not bread then let them eat cake
As for those who dare to turn against me
Soon you'll be begging for mercy

The evil rose, so beautifully grows
Throwing a wild, colorful show
As for all those weeds that get in my way
Ah, you’ll just rot away and feed me anyway

There was one man whom the queen fancied
A handsome Prince of Blue who lived far across the sea
But the one who won his heart wasn’t the Queen
But instead a peasant woman from the Country of Green

The Queen went mad with rage and misery
So she called her servant from the ministry
A cruel order was given by the Queen,
“Lay waste to the traitorous country of Green”

Soon the land was showered in the Queen’s wrath
Turning the peaceful country into a bloodbath
Once she gained word of the people’s pleas
The Queen simply sipped on her tea

The evil rose, so beautifully grows
Throwing a maddening, colorful show
But with all the thorns that grew through and through
Ah, the rose is impossible to reach out to

In order to take the evil queen down,
The oppressed people finally stood their ground
The one who led the mob demanding for her head
Was a young swordswoman dressed in crimson red

All the resentment that built over the years
Now consumed the people without any fear
As for the tired army of the kingdom
They were no match for the mob seeking freedom

Finally they made it to the throne room
All the servants fled to escape their doom
The precious Queen was captured on sight
Without even putting up a fight

The evil rose, so beautifully grows
Throwing a a pathetic, wilted show
As for the heaven she built without a care
Ah, it quickly withered away far beyond repair

Once upon a time in a faraway land

Was a tiny girl of only age fourteen

She was to die at three in the afternoon
The time when the church bells would boom
And the girl who was once called a Queen
Bored in jail, knowing they’d never turn fifteen

Finally it seemed the end had arrived
The church bells rang and sang a bittersweet goodbye
Taking no notice of the angry crowd
They said out loud...

The evil rose, will never again grow
Closing the curtains on her colorful show
Nowadays the people still speak of her
"Ah, The Daughter of Evil got what she deserved"
