Pastor Shane Brewer


Shane Brewer has been serving as Senior Pastor of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church since September of 2014. His ministry is guided by three central components: God’s love, God’s Word and God’s glory.

Shane is the husband of Crystal Brewer and the father of his son, Cameron Brewer and daughter, Sydney Brewer. He grew up as a local, here, in Northern Kentucky where he graduated from Dixie Heights High School in 1990. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University and graduated with a Master’s Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained into the preaching ministry in 1999 and has been serving in pastoral ministry since that time, including pastoring Mentor Baptist Church in Mentor, Kentucky for fifteen years and now serving Fort Mitchell Baptist Church in, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

An avid sports fan, his Man Cave has one wall covered with Dallas Cowboys décor and another wall covered in Kentucky Wildcats Basketball paraphernalia. Shane’s biggest fan is his 43 lbs. Golden Doodle named Knox that serves as a rich source for quite a few of his sermon illustrations.

His favorite text of Scripture in the Bible is Ephesians 2: 1 – 10, and he testifies that his life verse is Matthew 6: 33, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”. Shane continually demonstrates a passion for not only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but also a heart for God’s people who make up the body of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church.
