I hate to burst your bubble, but pigeons are everywhere, and it's all our fault.
For thousands of years, pigeons were domesticated to be our bird buddies.
But can you blame us? They've got such bubbly personalities!

In addition to being pets, we used them in scientific research, and they were kept as a source of entertainment too—Pigeon RACING was a beak deal back in the day.

Pigeons were also our ancient postal service, delivering messages far and wide.
But then came the invention of the telephone, and suddenly, we didn't need them anymore…so we kinda just blew them away like bubbles in the wind.

And after all that time serving humanity, pigeons lost their wild survival instincts. Instead of living out in nature, they’re stuck in the city and they have no choice but to rely on human kindness.
And now? People can't stand 'em. They're calling 'em flying rats, nuisances, pests.

We used them, then left them with no survival skills except begging for food -
and now we've got laws against feeding them.

And sometimes they're killed off. Let’s not be the Grim Reaper to our feathered friends….

Let's heal this relationship. Let’s be pals with pigeons again.
