OLDEST private CAR COLLECTION in the WORLD – LOUWMAN Museum NETHERLANDS [Ep. 77]

This was one of my favourite museums to visit. Even if you’re not a car nut, you’ll enjoy it. There are over 275 cars to look at, from old French to mid-century American, to late Japanese. The collection includes Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Cadillac, Rolls Royce, Bugatti, Mercedes, Renault, Peugeot, Ford, Chevrolet, Duesenberg, and so much more. There were lots of marques I’ve even never heard of before.

There’s also the largest collection of automobile related paintings, posters, sculptures and other memorabilia, if you get sick of looking at the cars.

Many of the vehicles are some of the last surviving models in the world, right back to the late 1800’s. And almost all of them are either in completely original condition, or beautifully restored.

There are famous cars from movies including The Godfather, and James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5. As well as ones owned by famous people like Elvis Presley, Winston Churchill and others.

There’s also an entire street scene with old shops, memorabilia and a small café, all inside the same building.

It’s hard for a museum to keep the kid’s attention for a few hours, but this one did. It’s well worth a visit.
