RJ Balson & Son of Bridport, Dorset

Janet Street-Porter joined TV chef Brian Turner at RJ Balson's, filming for the BBC's A Taste of Britain S01E08.
The pair were interested to sample the two oldest homemade products still sold, being Balson's original pork sausages and famous faggots - both made to family recipes handed down through the generations.

The Balson family have been butchers since 1515 and deal in the highest quality meat, poultry & game and make a range of speciality foods including their award winning sausages and home cured bacon.
