Teammates need to be close to you and behind the shield to avoid beam damage? It blocks most/all beam damage but you still need to jump. Lasts for a decent bit as well. Anarchy unfortunately did not stick to the Witness so you do lose out on damage but you also give your team quite a big damage buff. Most LFGs I've been with die during DPS so it's a good way to prevent that maybe.

And the aspect is clutch for personal use. Not sure if the aspect will protect a teammate directly behind you or not.
