We worked with the teams at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and Mattel to manage and produce their very first virtual, Party on the Pier. For the past 20 years, this annual fundraiser has brought together families, patients and celebrities for a day of fun, games, and more to raise awareness for the hospital and its programs. We created a new look and feel for the virtual event by designing a complete style guide and integrating those assets into curated at-home kits filled with Mattel toys, updated branding and a custom built website. We produced, scripted and edited a live 50 minute program complete with fun interviews, heartfelt moments live musical performances and special guests. Virtual attendees were invited to step inside the virtual pier where they could play games, watch custom content, take a photo in the virtual photo booth and much more.
