The Royal Thai Air Force and National Aviation Museum was established in 1952 to collect, preserve and restore different airplanes and other aviation equipment used by the Royal Thai Air Force and some from the Royal Thai Navy.

The museum's collection includes rare aircrafts such as Japanese Tachikawa Ki-36, Vought O2U Corsair, Curtiss BF2C Goshawks, Spitfire, Nieuports and Breguets.
