One moment you are planning a journey in Pakistan, the next you are in the middle of modern day's oldest recurring conflict: India and Pakistan at it again. So I took the opportunity to tell the story of almost seventy years of tensions while traveling to one of the most beautiful but highly contested regions in the world: Kashmir. All the while India is blaming Pakistan for recent events and so the rhetoric keeps escalating with every passing day. The hospitable Pakistani people take me by the hand as I venture out alone deeper into the country along old and maybe future frontlines, and get firsthand accounts from the locals regarding their reality in this conflict.

I waited for things to cool down before publication to just in case avoid trouble for the people who were so kind to talk to me or take me in during those uncertain times.
