The 1958 Great Britain Lions tour was the Great Britain national rugby league team's 11th tour of Australia and New Zealand and took place from May to November 1958.

Great Britain won the series 2–1, retaining the Ashes.


First Test: July 5, 1958 Brisbane Exhibition Ground, Brisbane
Australia 18 – Great Britain 25

Australia took an early lead, but Great Britain fought back strongly in the second half, with tries from Ian Southward and John Challinor, and five goals from Eric Fraser, securing the win.

Second Test: July 12, 1958 Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney
Australia 17 – Great Britain 40

Great Britain dominated the match, with Mick Sullivan scoring three tries and Eric Fraser kicking eight goals. Australia's Greg Hawick, Ken Holman, and Norm Provan scored tries, but it wasn't enough to overcome the British side.

Third Test: July 19, 1958 Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney
Australia 17 – Great Britain 40

Great Britain clinched the series with a decisive victory, with Mick Sullivan scoring three tries and Eric Fraser contributing eight goals. Australia's Greg Hawick, Ken Holman, and Norm Provan scored tries, but it wasn't enough to overcome the British side.
