On July 31, 2024. I decided it was go time. After leaving Vancouver just after 4am I made it to the trail head and started hiking at 6. Good start, but this trip did not go without some challenges. 2200m + of elevation gain, a strange knee cramp to far stiffer scrambling then expected, with an over night pack weighing around 30lbs it made some of the exposure feel that much more spicy.

Great Trip! Loved it.
