The guitar is the evolution of the now-discontinued OM-28V, and features many design similarities with that older model. The OM-28 has a 1930’s aesthetic, with herriginbone purflings, ivoroid bindings, 1930’s style belly bridge, vintage style open-geared tuners and an old-style headstock logo. Gloss lacquer finish with slightly ambered top; beveled tortoise pickguard, slotted diamond fingerboard inlays.

A very comfortable guitar to play and hold, the OM-28’s 15” wide 000 size body is married to a neck that’s carved with a performing artist low-oval taper and has a 1-3/4” nut width. Bridge pin spacing is 2-3/16”, which affords a little extra room to move. The guitar plays smoothly and easily.
