WORLD STUDIES 🌍 || HOMESCHOOLING EXTRA SUBJECTS || BIG CHANGES! ||

This has been a long time coming. I felt like we hit a bit of a dead end with our extra subjects, science, history and geography lately and needed to make some changes. For us the changes looked like - less emphasis on published curriculums for these subjects and more emphasis on books and picture books, less emphasis on ticking boxes and more emphasis on cozying up on the sofa reading and discovering together, less emphasis on the title ‘history’ or geography’ more emphasis on studying and appreciating the beautiful world we live in..

So we are now calling it WORLD STUDIES 🌍

This is the study of all things in the world, history, bible history, geography, science, nature, you name it.
