CPI was born 20 years ago in the North East of England, with a clear vision of a healthier and more sustainable future for people, places and our planet.

This year, we’re celebrating 20 years of innovation and impact, catalysing the innovation ecosystem and disrupting markets with ground-breaking technologies.

Over the past 20 years, CPI has grown from a small office operated by two people into 12 innovation hubs, housing more than 730 experts and transforming landscapes across the North of England and Scotland. We have supported thousands of projects, have a customer base of over 60% SMEs, and work across various markets and sectors.

Innovation never stands still, accelerating disruptive science and drawing inspiration from the most unlikely places. From HealthTech and Pharma to Energy Storage, Novel Food and AgriTech, CPI’s impact within these markets has been transformative.
