Step by step guide on how to apply your DIY Clusters Every Time.

Cluster Lashes are a favorite for brides and those who want to avoid looking like they are wearing obvious false lashes.

Position the individual lash directly on your natural lashes, as close to the lash line as possible, without touching the eyelid.

Start at the outside of the eye and work inwards to the centre.

Remember to hold the cluster in place for approximately 20 seconds so that the glue can form a strong bond.


PRO TIP:

In order to maximize the efficacy of lash glue and keep your individual rapid cluster lashes on longer, only choose a makeup remover without excess oils. After all, part of the reason you clean your face is to remove excess oils. You do not want to add more before and eyelash application.

Are you supposed to wash lash clusters?

Yes! To keep your lash clusters clean and sanitary on the eyes for multi-day use, you must clean them daily.


Can you stack lash clusters?

Because Beauty Lashed Clusters come in small lash clusters — not strips and not individual lashes — they can be stacked and layered in a way that doesn't look clunky or messy.

If you tried to lash stack strip lashes, it would look like you were wearing two strip lashes.


The Procedure:

1. You can apply clusters BEFORE or AFTER makeup, unlike strip lashes. Applying them after makeup will allow you to reuse them more often, but the lash clusters will usually not look as "natural" as when applied before eye makeup.

2. Line up about 6 clusters for a visual lash map. I usually use 2 shorts 8-10 mm) and 2-3 mediums (12-14 mm) and 2 long outter corners (16mm) as my natural lashes are a bit long for the Shorts, especially at the outer corners.


MAKE SURE YOU LET THE GLUE DRY FOR 45-60 SECONDS! If you see the glue on one or two of the clusters starting to go a bit grey, that's the time to start applying them. Applying before the glue is tacky will make this sooo much harder.

3: [IMPORTANT] Curl your lashes and apply mascara if you're doing your makeup before. If you curl them after you apply clusters, you may bend or pull them out of place.

4. With a pair of tweezers, pick up the lash clusters by the tips and then apply them one by one from the center of your eye outwards.

And here's the big tip. GO UNDER YOUR LASHES, AND APPLY THEM ON THE TIDE-LINE, right where your lash roots meet your skin. Then use your tweezers to push them firmly upwards so they curve and meld into your natural lashes.

Many people apply them from the top down, but your own lashes will just get in the way and make it so much harder. Also, applying on the tide line makes them more invisible. When you close your eyes, nobody will see any knots or clumps of glue because the clusters are hidden below your natural lash line.


5. If you want fluttery, wispy lashes that look natural, space each cluster such that the outer tips of the clusters just touch each other. Imagine each cluster as a "V". You want to make sure the points of the V's touch each other. For a fuller, more dramatic look, let them overlap more.

6. Seal these beauties!

The basic function of a lash sealant is to form a barrier to protect against the elements that break down the lash glue.
This 'sealed effect' helps to create maximum retention as well as to prevent extensions twisting.

How do I apply the coating sealant?

Same as how you'd apply mascara! But only on the base where the cluster meets your natural lash. If you apply it to your entire lash it will end up with a crusty crunchy kind of feel and who wants that?!

Apply it evenly on the eyelash base but avoid contacting your eye line. (It's tricky to clean the coating sealant when applied on the eye line!) Once applied, brush them well with a dry lash wand.

Extra Tips when using an eyelash extension sealer:

When you apply a lash extension sealant, it will temporarily create this ‘wet lash’ look. That’s totally normal. It is important to use a new, dry lash wand to spread the lash sealer so the extensions don’t stick together.

Don't apply a sealant all the way onto your skin (lashline) but give it about 2~3mm room from the lash root.
