DAVID BOWIE SONGWRITING TIPS (songwriting tips from famous songwriters)

David Bowie was one of the most influential songwriters of all time and just by examining his process we can find endless songwriting tips and tools we can use to improve our own songwriting, Here are five of my favorites.

Have you ever listened to Bowie's music and thought, How did he manage to be one of the most original songwriters you ever heard and how did he come up with such classic songs? I know I do. Every time I listen to a David Bowie song with their eclectic style and intricate chord progression, not to mention the classic hooks, I can't help but be inspired.

David Robert Jones, better known as David Bowie had a career spanning six decades and is arguably one of the most unique songwriters to ever grace this planet. I created this video as part of the "songwriting tips from famous songwriters" and a tribute to, in my opinion, a true creative genius as a way to share some of the songwriting methods I have learned by studying just a fraction of his phenomenal body of work. I hope you, as a songwriter, can benefit and be inspired in the same way I was and am by this unique artist.
