Beau Gets a Quick Workout! - Washington, DC, USA

We had a good morning, slightly helping at the puppy class. Beau got to demonstrate the obstacle course and then, we got to work out in the back corner of the club with the massive distraction of 11 puppies! Beau did really well and was able to focus on me for most of the time. After he had a nice nap, we went out for a walk and I wanted to see how he would do with the distraction of Massachussets Avenue while we did a few off-leash (I left his walking leash on as a drag line). Dogs, bikes, people, and cars - Oh, My! 😁 You will see he breaks eye contact a few times, but I am super proud that he checks back in rather quicly. We’ve been doing a lot of engagement work…and I think it is helping. All of this hot work garnered Beau a cup of doggie ice cream when we got home!
