Philips HPL-N 250W Antique Mercury Vapor Light Bulb.

Got one more amazing vintage mercury vapor bulb. This one was made by Philips almost 34 years ago and had never been used before!
The little instruction sheet found inside the bulb sleeve that is written in spanish says as follows:

HIGH PRESSURE MERCURY VAPOR LAMP

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
This high pressure mercury vapor lamp must be used with an appropriate ballast type that complies with the specifications written by the Mexican Official Norm (NOM) J-222

PRECAUTIONS FOR THE USER
In regards of the big temperature difference between the inside of the lamp and the outer portion of the bulb, the glass surface must not be scratched nor subjected to water splashing of any kind, either natural or artificial.
If the outer bulb brakes, lamp must be turned off immediately as the ultraviolet radiation produced by the arc tube can produce damages in the near surroundings (skin burn, eye damage, plastic deterioration, garden poisoning, etc)
Lamp must not be installed nor removed when power is on over the circuit.
Philips will not assume any responsibilities in regards to personal or equipment damage that could develop from an inappropriate use of the lamp or for using not-appropriate equipment.
