In the months following the release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes this past May, fans of the franchise have grown more and more restless and eager for news on the status of the sequel. Well, after teases from director Wes Ball in recent weeks, and strong clues indicating that things have been moving in a positive direction, the day has, at least seemingly, finally arrived, as we now have official word from the President of 20th Century Studios on if and when the next Planet of the Apes movie will arrive.
