The second of only two singles by this mysterious great soul singer on Hollywood label, both of which are excellent masterpieces. Released in 1968. It may have been recorded in the same session as 1119, but I think it was recorded on a different day.
This side is his best work. Truly MONSTER/KILLER DEEP SOUL BALLAD.
