Check out how I used the Vevor 3 gal alcohol distiller to do a simple distillation to collect tomato hydrosol during my yearly tomato sauce canning process. It is surprisingly simple to do, it’s super fun, and I know the hydrosols I make are clean and organic.

I can easily make hydrosol in my kitchen from my organic tomato harvest and I get another product. As a homesteader, finding ways to make more of a harvest is spectacular. I am excited to see what this particular hydrosol has to offer.

Some sources say that tomato hydrosol contains lycopene, others say no. The only true way to know is to take your hydrosol to a lab that can analyze your product.
