COVID-19 has disrupted billions of lives and endangered the global economy, creating an unprecedented human crisis.

TheHeroLoop features a mobile-first design, with a compatible web app for browsers and is a scalable response ecosystem to COVID-19. The vision is to create a worldwide socio-economic recovery movement to support countries’ paths to social and economic recovery, and to support democracy as well as accelerate SDG 2030 goals.

In the MVP TheHeroLoop matches helpers – we call Heros, with people in need of help – Loopers because they need to keep the loop going. Help offered is getting food, picking up medications, transportation, and other simple tasks like walking the dog. To reach our elderly and off-grid users, we also offer a landline to call in and ask for help by leaving a voicenote, and the nearest available Hero will call the Looper back. Post MVP we will include user stories for businesses, universities and governments.

TheHeroLoop will incentive the Heroes, and the worthy cause is packaged up with some desired intangible rewards for top leaders. So if you always dreamt of being the Local Hero, now’s your chance!

TheHeroLoop project is unique. Anonymous use make it possible to distinguish between centralised and decentralised data and we use AI and Blockchain to protect people’s privacy and security. We made sure to use AI to filter toxic use and made it possible for each user be protected by a decentralised encrypted key, as well as control their own credentials. Everyone has a choice of what personal data to share.
