MARIKINA RIVER NOW AT 17m LEVEL | ABS-CBN News

Local authorities are monitoring the level at the Marikina River, which has risen to 17 meters, as of 9 a.m. today.

Under the city’s alarm level system, residents must prepare to evacuate under a second alarm, when the water goes above 16 meters.
Various areas of Metro Manila have been flooded as the red warning level was raised by the weather bureau PAGASA due to the heavy rainfall brought about by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Carina.
