second half of garage videos are with no music. (note it was about the same 15 minutes of time before he finally got layed down.)
Last video is a random one I added in because Charlie still after all these years has not figured out his water bottle completely, he does these full licks instead of lightly tapping with his tongue to get the most water out. And yes, I realize how dirty that sounds, but I just think its funny how he utilizes the bottle!
In this video we do a brief experiment to see if Charlie reacts differently in an otherwise empty room when there is music playing vs when there is not music playing. I chose to play classical music that is more orchestral because I thought of all the options this would likely be the most calming. i wanted to see if he would lay down and relax quicker when there was music playing. Normally Charlie spends the better part of 30 minutes scratching at the kennel when he is first put in there. So I knew he would be that way at first.

I placed him in way before his usual bed time because I actually wanted him to be full of energy before going in. If I had put him in at bedtime he would have had his food and then probably just layed down after eating anyways. So I wanted to try to make the experiment more pure without the food and routine distractions.

My findings were pretty simple: The music didn't appear to have any affect on him at all. In fact, of the multiple times that I tried this, in every case, Charlie would scratch at the door of the kennel for about 15 mins and then he would lay down. This was routine in every case. This is also what I assumed would happen. I've had music on in the car and also driven him without music and it never seems to matter to him if it is on or off.

For this test I used a mydlink camera that I got at Walmart so apologies that it isn't the best quality in the world. But I wanted to be able to observe him while at the same time not be in the room as a distraction.
