What is Yakuza even about?
It's like anime, but good.
This is my appreciation video for one of my favorite video game franchises.

2023 UPDATE: I decided to once again take a crying Kiryu screenshot and give him a weird smile (lol). Also, I have now played almost every single Like a Dragon game! I'm just missing Kenzan, which is the only one missing an English translation (even Kurohyō 1 & 2 got a fan-made one!)

ABOUT THE VIDEO:
I recorded almost everything myself using GeForce Experience, because I don't own a capture card; it worked like a charm for 0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2.
For 3, 4, 5, and 6, I unfortunately had to use PS Remote Play which killed that sweet 60fps, 50Mbps bit-rate, 1080p capture. Even so, I think it would have looked worse if I had downloaded some videos for that... which is what I had to do for 7/LAD, Dead Souls, Judgment, Hokuto and Ishin (I just remembered about Kenzan, even then, I didn't include anything about the PSP games or Online). MY HISTORY WITH THESE GAMES:
It all began way back on 2011, when a 14 year old me downloaded the Yakuza 4 demo. Since then, I had alway been interested in trying out the franchise, but my lack of English and money held me back. Fast forward to November of 2018, and I'm now studying English Teaching in College, and Yakuza Kiwami is free for PS Plus members. One year later I built my first gaming PC and the first game I played was Kiwami 2, followed by 0, also known as the worst way to start this franchise (seriously, you should start with 0 before the remakes: I was completely lost in the Pocket Circuit and Cabaret Club storylines). Next year, I decided to replay these three to prepare for Like a Dragon, and I ended up buying the Remastered Collection (3, 4, and 5) realizing that this wouldn't be released on PC before LAD (7). Unfortunately, I had some time constraints because of my final semester in college, that's why I finished 5 just two weeks ago (fortunately, I didn't buy 6 for PS4, and I can now try it out on my PC: I am relieved from the sub 30fps and EXTREME aliasing) Now I'm just waiting for March to finally experience the finale of Kiryu's journey, and the beginning of Ichiban's odyssey (good thing I've played DQXI, at least).
