I am a big fan of using Vagrant to manage my virtual machines. You can also use Ansible as the VM is deployed to customize as you require. In the video we add the Hashicorp Repository to Rocky Linux 8. To use Ansible as the provisioner Ansible must be installed on the host which them mean MacOS or Linux. Or make use of the Ansible Local Provisioner where Ansible is then added to the VM before the playbook is executed.
