Expert Gardener® Top Soil is a premium blend of CQA-Certified Compost*, Peat Sedge and Composted Bark Fines. Over 90% of the ingredients in this product come from sustainable resources. This soil blend will add nutrients and organic matter to existing native soils. It is ideal for general gardening use.This product contains CQA-Certified compost and although we have taken great care at removing foreign objects from the compost, small fragments may remain from the leaf, yardwaste & green bin/organics collection process. This will not affect the product’s performance.Available in store only at select Ontario locations.DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Like all soil products, we recommend using gloves when handling. For Amending Garden Soils or Planting Trees & Shrubs: Mix 1 part Top Soil into 4 parts of native soil. For Seeding Lawns: Work a 1/4″ (0.625 cm) layer of Top Soil into the top 1″ (2.5 cm) of native soil before applying grass seed.
