📙 Backstory:

"A Forest's Lullaby" is an original composition I wrote in July 2022.
This piece is about solitude - getting away from everything else. Escaping to another "realm" and just being in your own thoughts. I especially wanted to capture this ethereal/dreamy-like state in this composition.

✨ Some highlights:

-The chord progression is a 4-3-2-1 progression (common in Japanese genres). The VI chords in between help give it an even more seamless transition, really adding to that "flow".
Despite the largo section being a completely different tempo, it still flows well with the rest of the composition. This is due to heavy use of rubato and also the sixteenth notes giving the illusion of a faster tempo.
