Far from being just one of the apostles, Paul was at odds with the disciples throughout his public ministry as a believer. It may not have happened all at once, but Paul would find himself at odds with the Hellenists and then the Jewish Christians.

At the beginning of his third missionary journey, Paul was baptizing disciples of Jesus in Ephesus, but by the end Paul was a man on the run from the Jewish Christians. But why was Paul being hunted by the Jewish Christians at the end of his ministry, and why did the Hellenists protest Paul right away?

I must admit that I say “Antipas” a bit odd, but I had just looked at it in Greek hoping to find something, which stated the definition of “Antipas” as an initiate of Mithras. No luck, but I may have misinterpreted one of its grammatical marks as a “stress,” and I allowed this to inspire to say Antipas as “AntiEFpas” (or whatever).
