TThe Viewtron IP-180-4 is a 180 degree security camera with 8-megapixel resolution, audio surveillance microphone, 2-way audio communication, and built-in AI software. CCTV Camera Pros has one of these 180 IP cameras installed on the front of our building to provide an ultra-wide view of our parking lot.

Mike Haldas, co-founder of CCTV Camera Pros, demonstrates the remote viewing of this security camera from remotely over the Internet while on vacation. Mike is using the Viewtron VMS software for Mac to remotely access the Viewtron NVR that this camera is connected to. All Viewtron camera systems support remote monitoring from Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android.

This IP camera's design incorporates two 5-megapixel lenses. Software stitches the two lenses together to make a single seamless 8-megapixel camera. This 180 IP camera uses just one POE port on a Viewtron NVR. It is connected to the PoE port on the NVR using a single Cat-6 network cable. This simplifies the installation tremendously, making it plug and play.

The Viewtron 180-degree camera is versatile with flexible mounting options for both ceiling and wall mount.

The camera's built-in AI software people detection, vehicle detection, and facial recognition. The AI object detection eliminates almost all false positives that are typically experienced with video motion detection from CCTV cameras.

The built-in speaker and microphone enable audio surveillance and two-way communication via the mobile app for iPhone and Android.

There is spotlight camera functionality provided by the white LEDs, which can be triggered by low light conditions or detected intrusions. The weatherproof IP67 rated housing ensures durability and reliability, even in harsh outdoor environments.
