Purchased as a kitset, Auckland Gliding Club members spent 2000 hours building ZK-GAD a Slingsby T31 two-seater training glider. This is the June 1952 test flight - Ralph Court pilot - at Mangere, New Zealand, now the site of the Auckland International Airport. Also, an auto-tow launch during operations at Ardmore Aerodrome.
