In this video, I show you how I replace my brake pads for a 2017 Toyota Prius prime this works for other Toyota as well and other years such as 2018, 2019 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Prius.

The front brake pads are really easy to change out the rears require a special tool to turn the pistons or you can use a pair of pliers

You’ll need a size 14 mm and possibly a 17 mm.

You’ll need some lubricant and brake cleaner. In my video I may be used a little bit of lubricant. I didn’t use any brake cleaner after I finished. I drove the vehicle around town and it was great no issues no problems no noises.
