Match Day 2024 Recap

This year's Match Day was held on March 15, 2024. Fourth-year students from Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine participated in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). During Match Day, students found out where they were going to continue the next chapter of their medical careers.

Before Match Day, students apply and interview at residency programs in the specialty of their choice and rank their preferences. The residency programs also rank the preferences of students. The rank lists are then matched through NRMP.

They gathered with family and friends at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton to celebrate Match Day as part of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), which annually matches students with residency programs across the United States.
