This Lancet Webinar presents the global launch of The Lancet Commission on the future of care and clinical research in autism. Despite the tremendous increase in awareness of autism over the past two decades, much more could be done to improve life outcomes for autistic individuals. This Commission brought together clinicians and other health-care providers, researchers, advocates, self-advocates, and parents from six continents to generate recommendations that have the potential to improve quality of life for autistic individuals and their families worldwide.

During the webinar, authors of the Commission present key findings and recommendations from the report, followed by a panel discussion of experts and advocates.
