Have you ever had days where you didn't get a whole lot accomplished? Where you had great intentions but for one reason or another, the day passed and so did your intentions. I started a reflection process a few years ago. In it, I take 5 minutes every evening as part of my "wind down" routine and reflect upon the day and look forward to the day ahead. This process is profoundly powerful. By finding gratitude from the day for not only the good things but also the things that I can improve upon has altered my mindset dramatically. The final step is to look ahead to tomorrow and identify my top 3 priorities for the day along with my daily schedule for that day. Again, this practice has changed my life and has increased my productivity ten fold. The best thing is that by prioritizing what is important to me, I am taking action on what is truly important to me.
