Can you answer me a question? What qualifies as a hit record these days? Is it a certain level of streams, or tiktok features? Is it actual record sales, because that would seem like hustle backwards to get a production deal when you've already facilitated a situation that's already selling records? What metric do you think a production company looks for when searching for performance artists(not a producers or song writers)? I'm only asking this question because we've seen a lot production companies sign performance artists early in there career(i.e meg the stallion 1501) as a lot the production companies are masquerading as labels these days and having to market/shop the artists they produce themselves.
