2015 FORD FUSION; P0141 ENGINE LIGHT / O2 SENSOR CHANGE / OIL CHANGE

Описание к видео 2015 FORD FUSION; P0141 ENGINE LIGHT / O2 SENSOR CHANGE / OIL CHANGE

In this video I walk through the steps of a standard oil change and diagnose a check engine light. The Fusion is registering a PO141 code which points to the heating circuit on an O2 sensor. While the lower pan is removed for the oil change I poke around to try and locate the O2 sensors; it has two, one upstream (before the catalytic converter) and one after the converter (downstream).

Mid video I rant about three prong fuses while investigating the power distribution box in the engine compartment (fuse box). It turns out the 2014 Black Ford Fusion (1.5 Ecoboost) I tried to fix a few months ago was held up by a bad fuse. The owner took the car to a repair facility after we failed to eliminate the check engine light. All that was left to repair was a bad fuse. Enough about old news, back to the current video description.

After checking the fuse box in the engine compartment and the wiring for the downstream O2 sensor its time to move on. I conjure up a method to remove and replace the downstream O2 sensor. Problem Solved! I also locate the upstream O2 sensor, but hold off on replacement. It looks like its in a difficult location to access.
