Ravi Teja (born as Ravi Shankar Raju Bhupatiraju on 26 January 1968)[2][3][4][5] is an Indian film actor known for his work in Telugu cinema. He is widely considered one of the most popular and highest paid actors of Telugu cinema, who has appeared in over sixty films. He won the Nandi Special Jury Award in 1999 and 2002 for his performance in the films Nee Kosam (1999) and Khadgam (2002) and also won the state Nandi Award for best actor for his film Neninthe in 2008.
He started his career as a supporting artist in Karthavyam (1990) and subsequently played small roles in the films Chaitanya (1991), Aaj Ka Goonda Raj (1992), Allari Priyudu (1993), Ninne Pelladata (1996) and Sindhooram (1997). Teja has also worked as an assistant director for several Telugu films.
Ravi Teja began his professional career as a lead actor with Nee Kosam in 1999 and also received the Nandi Award for his performance. He then starred in successful films such as Itlu Sravani Subramanyam (2001), Chiranjeevulu (2001), Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru (2002), Idiot (2002), Khadgam (2002), Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi (2003), Venky (2004), Naa Autograph (2004), Bhadra (2005), Vikramarkudu (2006), Dubai Seenu (2007), Krishna (2008), Kick (2009), Don Seenu (2010), Mirapakay (2011), Daruvu (2012), Balupu (2013), Power (2014), Bengal Tiger (2015) and Raja the Great (2017).
In 2012, he was also listed as 50th in the Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrities with an annual income of ₹15.5 crore (US$2.4 million).[6] In 2013 he was in 68th position with earnings of ₹13 crore (US$2.0 million).[7] In 2015 he was in 74th position with earnings of ₹12.5 crore (US$1.9 million).
Nayanthara (born Diana Mariam Kuriyan; 18 November 1984), is an Indian film actress who mainly appears in Tamil films and predominantly appears in other South Indian films.[8]
Nayanthara made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare with Jayaram. She made her debut in Tamil cinema with Ayya (2005) and Telugu with Lakshmi (2006). Both were successful. After this she had numerous commercially successful Tamil and Telugu films like Chandramukhi (2005), Dubai Seenu (2007), Tulasi (2007), Billa (2007), Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), Aadhavan (2009), Adhurs (2010), Simha (2010), Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010), Sri Rama Rajyam (2011), Raja Rani (2013), Arrambam (2013), Thani Oruvan (2015), Maya (2015), Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), Babu Bangaram (2016) and Iru Mugan (2016).
In 2010, she also made her Kannada film debut through the Kannada-Telugu bilingual film Super,[9] her only appearance in a Kannada film to date. Her portrayal of Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam (2011) earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress and the Nandi Award for Best Actress. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actress for her performance in Raja Rani (2013) and Naanum Rowdy dhan (2015). Kochi Times named her in its "List of 15 Most Desirable Women in 2014".[10] In 2017, she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Malayalam Actress for her performance in Puthiya Niyamam (2016), marking her first Filmfare award in Malayalam
Nassar was born on 5 March 1958 to Mehaboob Basha and Mumtaz in Tamil Nadu, India. He studied in St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School (Chengalpattu). He moved to Chennai (then Madras) after school, where he finished his pre-university at Madras Christian College. At Madras Christian College, he was an active member of the Dramatic Society. Later for a brief time, he worked in the Indian Air Force. He trained in two acting schools: the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce's Film Institute and the Tamil Nadu Institute for Film and Television Technology.[2][3][4][5][6]
Brahmanandam Kanneganti (born 1 February 1956) is an Indian film actor and comedian, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits for a living actor.[1] He was honoured with the Padma Shri, for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2009.[2] Brahmanandam is regarded as one of the finest comic actors of India, noted particularly for his comic expressions.[3][4] He has acted in more than 1100 films till date[5] and has been one of the highest paid comedy actors in Indian Cinema. Brahmanandam has garnered five state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Award South, six CineMAA Awards, and three South Indian International Movie Awards for best comedy.[6][7].
