Bakhtiyans, one of the most powerful and rich tribes of Mardin, live in the large Bakhtiyan mansion with Aziz Bakhtiyan, who is the head of all affairs, his wife Mahur, his brother Kerim and his wife Asude. The Bakhtiyans' wealth and power come from illegal means rather than their investments in Istanbul and Mardin. Big gambling games take place on the family's large farm outside the city. Nadir is Aziz Bakhtiyan's most loyal man, whom he trusts sometimes even more than his family. He lives in the outbuilding of the Bahtiyan mansion with his wife Gönül and his little son Memed. He is a man who is content with what he has and is content with his small world. Kudret and her sister Bahar come to Mardin from Istanbul for a big gambling game, through Aziz's only son, Civan Bahtiyan. Bahar, who is innocent and even shaken by the shocking events she has experienced, which has nothing to do with her brother and his affairs, attracts Nadir's attention at the very first moment. When his cheating in the gambling game is discovered, there is no way for Kudret to escape from the Bakhtiyans. Unaware of everything, Bahar is about to pay the biggest price of her life just for being with her brother. This is when things start to get complicated.

Nadir is the most special man Aziz Bahtiyar sometimes trusts even more than his family. Nadir's loyalty to Aziz Ağa, his power and influence to handle the business, is loved and respected in the 'dark' business environment and throughout Mardin. The escape begins for Nadir, who experiences the greatest injustice and betrayal, and for a handful of people who believe in him.
