Have you ever been to the steam railway in Launceston or known there was ever a narrow-gauge steam railway running there?

My friends and I loved visiting, not only because of these lovely little quarry hunslet locomotives, but because it feels like we have our own little bit of Wales here in the South-West.

The line runs from Launceston to New Mills along the former mainline trackbed, and has been one of my favorite lines to visit in Cornwall, with lovely friendly staff who run the line from Sunday to Thursday.

I would recommend going and visiting them, if you have not already, and if you love narrow-gauge steam railways as much as we do. :)
