Happy Monday everybody. While Arkham Origins is distinctly different from the rest of the Arkham series, it still has the same love put into the small details around the world and within the story. However, some of the information in the game is absolutely useless, and so, here is a bunch of that useless information for you to do absolutely nothing with.

An audio log with warden joseph mentions a christmas party with Judge Harkness, and if that name sounds a little familiar, its because it is connected with an easter egg from a completely different game. In Arkham City, if you head to the calendar man's cell in the courthouse on Christmas day, then you’ll hear this play clip

Within the final offer, we can find that there is a sign for Jonathan Crane, asking for patients. Interestingly, we can also see in Blackgate, that he is on a sign in sheet, but never signed out. I love seeing scarecrow origins showcased like this.

Before the game was released, Warner Brothers had mentioned that players can unlock a special batsuit for 100% completion called the Worst Nightmare suit; which is the model seen in Joker's Origin story. This was meant to be the embodiment of what criminals saw, because in this game, the batman is more of a myth. I love this stuff and unfortunately, the suit was cut, HOWEVER, with mods, you can restore it, and it looks fantastic. Instead, the 100% suit is the dark knight suit we know and love.

Pneelope Young plays a massive role in Arkham Asylum, being the one to help joker develop the titan formula, which we see in Origins was originally formulated by Bane, and was otherwise known as TN-1. Did you know though, that we can see a room in Lacy Towers that specifically belongs to Penelope Young? It’s crazy to think how close she was to the Joker when he killed Black Mask, and how their paths would cross once again only a few years later.

In the ending of the game, we can hear Joker singing the song cold cold heart, which initially I thought was yet another love song between two characters who just need to kiss already. But, in retrospect, this was a way of foreshadowing the cold cold heart DLC that would release later on.
