His body was cut into pieces. Eventually he died. The Maratha Empire was shaken by Sambhaji's death. Aurangzeb also regretted his death. It is said that Aurangzeb also wanted a son like Sambhaji. In this way, the enemy also became convinced of Sambhaji's bravery. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj became immortal in history too.
