„Purple Kaiser is a new project from Kaiser Souzai that focuses on melodic grooves and uplifting melodies to create thought provoking and epic house tracks perfect for both the dance floor and home listening.
Having already featured an EP on leading label Bar 25 he is soon to drop an album on his own label Ballroom Purple, which has also featured music from others such as The Scumfrog.
Although Purple Kaiser is a relatively new alias, many know Kaiser Souzai’s techno focused tracks on labels like Christian Smith’s Tronic and house tracks on others including Sharam Jey's Bunny Tiger.
This release is a sampler taken from Purple Kaiser’s album that is scheduled to drop early 2021 and gives a snapshot of what to expect from the full album, which blends immersive atmosphere with compelling synths and dramatic percussion.
Featuring the vocals of ShyBoy, “Silence” is the main track on this EP and it's a moody cut with charismatic vocals fused with haunting melodies, and throbbing bass tones. There is also a radio edit version, plus a dub mix for those who prefer not to have the vocals.
Also on the EP is “Seen The Lights” which has an uplifting atmosphere combining bursts of texture with stabbing melody and fluttering percussion that dances around the synth parts with its enchanting rhythms.“
