Everything I’ve used is preg/BF safe since I have been pregnant for the last nearly eight months.

Diet

Dairy and sugar were my triggers for hormonal acne. Lowering their intake to once or twice a week rather than completely cutting them off my diet helped.

Apart from that, I noticed my breakouts were directly proportional to my water in take so drinking a lot of water was non negotiable for me.

Other tips that helped I also made sure I used non comedogenic skincare at all times, unless I couldn’t in the case of product reviews. I also used salicylic acid masks 1-2 times a week on areas that I had active acne on. Brands I liked are The Derma Co and The Ordinary masks worked well for me.

Off the counter skincare can help with managing hormonal acne, but it’s important to consult a dermatologist to cure hormonal acne as may need prescription based medication.
